Gerry Heaney CRSP is the President of Sandhill Safety.

Gerry Heaney recently retired from ATCO Natural Gas after a 38-year career in a variety of roles. As the Supervisor of Health and Safety, Gerry led a team of Safety Professionals responsible for supporting safety for 2000 plus employees. Gerry has an Engineering Technology diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Alberta. Gerry has been a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) since 2011.

Throughout his career Gerry contributed on several industry boards and organizations including President of the Alberta Gas and Oil Pipeline Operators Safety Council (AGOPOSC), Chair of the Edmonton Utilities Operator Edmonton Area Pipeline and Utility Operators’ Committee (EAPUOC), and the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association (CEPA) H&S Working Group.
